The following weekends.

In the following weekends that are coming, I will be going to one of my Nanas Christmas party at Willowbank. The next weekend I will be doing a garage sale with my cousin before she leaves to Australia in Perth to live with her mum and brother and then the following weekend I think my little cousin Alira will be getting her hernia removed from her stomach.

With my Nanas Christmas party, I am to old to get a present from there so I will have to go up with my little brother and sister to go and get theirs because Lincoln can't go up by himself and Kendall can go up if she wants and if not then I have to go up with her. The thing that I really want to do at Willowbank is feeding the eels. I love it how they just eat the food off of the spoon and jump out of the water.

When we do our garage sale it will be at my Aunty Christina's house. The things that we don’t sell will go up on facebook and since Christmas is just around the corner it will be really good because we have kids toys, quilts, movies and so much more to sell. I will only be doing it on the 7th and the not the 8th because we have something on the 8th and I don’t know what it is tho because my mum won’t tell me.

I was not even aware of Alira getting her hernia removed. I never knew what it was until I got told by my Aunty. My little brother has one on his stomach but it is not as big as Alira one. I think she is getting it removed from her belly on either Saturday or Sunday. I don’t know which one though but I wish the best of luck for her.

Japanese

Hi guys and welcome back to another blog for this year. Today I will be showing you some Japanese work that we did last week. It is a self-introduction about me. It is not so clear to read but it is the best that I could do.
Here it is

Thank you for reading this. I am sure to post more like this later.

Hurumanu - Water cycle / Investigation

My Investigation on climate change

    ACIDIFICATION

    DEFINITION:

What is happening to the oceans?
Global warming is causing sea levels to rise, threatening the coastal population, also resulting in oxygen depletion that kills marine plants and shellfish. Factories and industrial plants discharge sewage and other runoff into the oceans.

What does this do to shellfish? The shell starts to decay from the animal which is not good for it.

HOW DOES CLIMATE CHANGE CONTRIBUTE TO THE ACIDIFICATION OF OUR OCEANS?
Oceans are becoming more acidic after the Industrial Revolution is no accident. As humans burn more and more fossil fuels, the concentration of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere continues to rise, driving climate change and making both air and sea temperatures hotter and hotter.

    DEFINITION:

    What are trees used for?
Paper, shade and shelter, timber for construction, fuel for cooking and heating, and fruit for food.

HOW DOES DEFORESTATION AFFECT THE CLIMATE?

Burning and or cutting down the trees reverses the effects of carbon sequestration and releases greenhouse gases (and including carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere. Furthermore, deforestation changes the landscape and reflectivity of the earth's surface, decreasing albedo.

    ICECAP MELT

    DEFINITION:

If all the ice melted what would happen?
If all the ice covering Antarctica, Greenland, and in mountain glaciers around the world were to melt, sea level would rise about 70 meters (230 feet). The ocean would cover all of the coastal cities and then the land area would shrink significantly.

HOW DOES ICECAP MELT AFFECT CLIMATE CHANGE?

The sea levels are rising and affecting coastal areas

    WATER VAPOUR

    DEFINITION:

HOW DOES  WATER VAPOUR AND EVAPORATION CONTRIBUTE TO CLIMATE CHANGE?

Water evaporates from the land and sea, which eventually returns to Earth as rain and snow. Climate change intensifies this cycle because as air temperatures increase, more water evaporates into the air.
