Hi guys and welcome back to another blog. Today I will be talking about crazy laws from around the world. The two places I have based these laws form in America and Asia. I have written 2 paragraphs and would like to share it with you. Here are my whole speech and my video. My speech is very long so you dont need to read it. I hope you like it.

Here is my whole speech

Hi. Today I am going to be talking about crazy laws around the world. I am basing my laws off of America and Asia because there weren't really any interesting crazy laws here in New Zealand that I could find. In America, I have based them on eating and transport. Asia is just a combination of laws. The first law takes place in Connecticut.

America crazy laws

In Connecticut, a pickle must bounce to legally be called a pickle. If the pickles don’t bounce, then they aren't pickles. Sidney Sparer and Moses dexler were arrested for selling rotten pickles. They were fined $500 dollars and the pickles were destroyed. In Georgia, it is illegal to eat fried chicken with utensils. A 91-year-old woman was sent to jail because she ate fried chicken with a fork. In Idaho, it is illegal to eat another person. This law was first created in 1937. The penalties for this are up to 6 months in jail and the fine up to $1,000. You CAN'T EAT another person's flesh and or blood.

In Hawaii, it is illegal for billboards to be put about. Hawaii is one of the few states that don’t allow billboards. The reason is to keep its gorgeousness.  In 1920 Hawaii was the first state to ban billboards. In Maryland, it is illegal to curse while driving. It is against the law for a person to curse or swear near any street, highway, or pathway. In Illinois, it is illegal to have fancy bike riding ( both hands and feet have to be on the pedals and handles ).

  Asia crazy laws

In Saudi Arabia, it is illegal for women to drive. Women who drive in public are at risk of being arrested and or fined. It is also against the law in Saudi Arabia that EVERY woman must have a male guardian in the car. This is often a relative or the woman's husband. Some people there think women don't actually need to drive. In Thailand, it is illegal for people to stand on money because the king's face is engraved on both the bills and on the coins too so apparently it is disrespecting his honor. Since 2008 it is illegal for people to be fat in Japan. The average man's waist has to be 33.5 inches aged over 40 and for women, the average waist needs to be 35.4 inches. For those exceeding the limit are given strict dieting guidance for several months.

In conclusion, I was shocked by how many crazy laws there were in America and in Asia how women couldn't drive in Saudi Arabia and also in Japan your waist has to be a certain inch and also how a pickle has to bounce in Connecticut. These are some pretty crazy laws
