Art/Poems

Hi guys and welcome back to another blog post for this year. Today I will be blogging about wats been going on in art/poems. We have been writing poems about whatever we want and I am actually really enjoying it. I made a poems bout memories yesterday and would like to share it with you so here it is.

Memories poem

As the bright light traces my eyes
I remember all the lies
The fighting and screaming
Thinking nothing will get better
Remembering I have a letter
“Open it, it says”
I do and a bright light flashes before me
I remember all the fun times at sea
The time when life stopped and everything was perfect
When I was running with my kite
Or when it was a starry night
I open my eyes wishing it could have stayed
My ears listening to hear a sound

I hear my door swing open and my soul just drowned

I was really proud of this one better then all of the others had done. I don't know why I think this one is better than the rest but it is.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this. If I could add or change anything please tell me so I can make changes to it if needed.

  1. Wow Bailey, what a powerful poem. I enjoyed the rhyme and rhythm that you have created. The overall feeling I had after reading your poem was a bit sad, is that the emotion that you wanted your reader to feel? I look forward to reading more of your work. Keep up the great start.

  2. This is just a fantasy with a girl living in reality when the world has changed and no one seems to be getting along but when everybody did get along she remembers all of those light memories she still had but forgot about and then comes back to live in the reality world once again.
