Hi guys and welcome back to another blog. Today I will be talking about a 'game' that we did during health. It was where we have a partner and they have to describe what is on the picture and you have to draw what they describe to you. You aren't allowed to look at the picture and they aren't allowed to look at your picture and once done it had to be checked with the teacher and if it's not good enough then you kinda have to start again. The picture that was being described to me was a colorful geometric one with a circle in the middle. The circle had words written inside it. The picture that I had to describe to my partner was a huge rock with a cliff behind it at a beach. There was a sunset that was hiding behind the sea.
Yea that's kinda it. Boring
What IP skill did you show/use today? Did you use any warm fuzzies?
How did it help with the success/lack of success, of the activity?
- Who did you work with that went well today?
If you were to do it again, how would you do it differently?
What level of Helisons behaviour model were you working at in this activity and provide examples of this
Today in health we did a little game called the marshmallow tower challenge. For this, we got 12 minutes to be able to build the tallest and most stable tower only using 8 skewers and 12 marshmallows. We were only allowed to use the cup and the materials we were given by the teacher only. Our goal for this game was to use the IP skills that we had chosen beforehand and work on that skill and if we used any warm fuzzies.
Here are the questions that we had to answer:
What IP skill did you use/show today? Did you use any warm fuzzies?
The IP skill that I chose was to use active listening and the warm fuzzies that I used were to say nice...
How did it help with the success/lack of success of the activity?
I'm not sure.
Who did you work with that went well today?
Khaylanie.
If you were to do it again, how would you do it differently?
I wouldn't break the sticks and tear apart the marshmallows.
What level of helisons behaviour model were you working at in this activity and provide examples of this.
I worked at level 3. I think I was working at level 3 again for this. I made sure that I put the equipment back and that I was prepared for the activity.
