HI guys and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be teaching you about blood cells and how they work around the body. I really hope that you enjoy and learn something about blood cells. Here is all of the information that I know about blood cells.

I know that you have lots of blood cells in your body and you do is well but did you know that your blood cells are actully made from your bones. In your bones you have something called bone marrow. Your bone Marrow is the thing that make's your blood cells. You blood cells don't just appear out of nowhere in your body. When I learnt this in class I was really surprized about it. I always thought that your bone was just a chunk of something but I was wrong.

Your blood carry's oxygen around the body. Your blood collects the oxygen from your lungs. This system is called your Cirulatory system. This is how your Cirulatory system works. It works using your blood, Your heart and your lungs. Your blood comes into your lungs and collects oxygen. Then your blood flows around the body sending oxygen around it so that your body can stay nice, healthy and fit. Also for your organs to stay healthy.

With your organs, you have one that carry's spair blood. That organ that carry's that blood is called your splein. Your splein is very important for your body because your body need's blood to stay healthy. If you damage your spleain or cut it open, all of that extra blood will be lost and if you loose lot's of blood your splein won't be able to support and more extra blood, if it's CUT not really damaged but it can still.

The Human body

The Human body

This term we have been learning about the 'Human body'. We have learned 7 systems with two different teachers. We have learned all together about the, Endocrine system, the Circulatory system and the Skeletal system in the first group. In the second group we learnt about the Digestive system, the Nervous system, the Muscular system and the Respirtory system. 

The most important thing in the Endocrine system is that it has 6 organs and that it is part of your brain so you have to be careful. The next system is your Circulaory system and it is important because your blood is invovled in it. Your blood goes around your body and comes into your lungs to collect O2. The next system is your Skeletal system and it is important because it makes your red blood cells and if you didn't have your red blood cells well then you would die. These are the things that we learnt with Miss D.

The most important thing in your digestive system is that you need the nutreints from the food that you eat. The next system is your Nervous system and it is important because it sends and recieve's messages from the brain. The next system is your Muscular system and it is important because it helps you move your bones and helps the rest of your body move. The last important system is your Respirtory system. Your Respirtory system helps you breathe in O2 Oxygen and helps you breathe out Carbon dioxide which is CO2. These are the things that we learnt with Mrs Mclachlan.

Heres a little bit about the table that I have been doing. The table that I have benn doing is in the 3rd paragraph. It tells you about Organs, Muscles and Nerves.

My Holiday writing

My Holiday writing

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to share with you my writing that I have done for a week and 2 days. Our goal was to put in a sense of place in our orientation. I have not finished all of it so I will be finishing it in my own time or at home.
Here is the writing that I have been working on. It is not completley finished.

2 Weeks Holiday

I started off this Holiday at Nana and Grandad’s house. As I walked threw the house, I noticed that a some things had changed.

The next day we were with our Nana Maria for one whole week but stayed at Nana and Grandads house. When me and my cousin came back from Nana Marias house me and my cousin  played a game of poker. Now that game of poker was really engaging.

Next after playing poker we played with some slime and with some clay hat I had moulded into a ball shape to throw on the wall and bounce back to us. We were both taking turns at throwing it onto the wall. Sometimes it fell on the floor and we had to pick it up but that was no matter because then we got to enjoy bouncing it back onto the wall again.

Threw on the day me and my cousin started to make smoothies to drink. We made one out of oreos and some out of fruit. They were the best smoothies that me and my cousin had ever made. As I could taste the flavour in them I could also smell the Bluberries, Raspberries and and mixed berries.

The great and powerful Elgrego!

The great and powerful Elgrego!

On Wednsday, the first day of school I was exited to meet my freinds again. This week I have been happy to be at school and learning some more new things. Today we saw the great magician called Elgrego. He has now got a new assistant called Ben. He performed lotes of tricks today and exited us.

The part that I liked best in the magic show was the part when he put a mask that had a remote control to control the mouth on to Jackson. My other favourite part was when Egrego made lots of birds appear. Elgrego made a heap of birds perform in the show. My favourite bird was the Macaw.

The birds he made were amzing to watch. They were all trained for a great performance at Hornby Primary school. There were lots of tricks for Elgrego to perform with all of the birds he had. There was one trick that when Elgrego blew up a ballon, he popped it and a white bird came out. There was another trick when Elgrego had a paniting with a white bird in it and as he was waving it round up and down slowly a white bird came out.

The next trick he made was pulling a ladder out of a black breef case. The ladder that elgrego had taken out of the breef case was all about steps. The steps were Respect, Trustworthy, Acceptable, Responsible and caring. he red some poems of what all of the steps meant.
