Market day

Hi guys and welcome back to another blog post for this week. Today I am going to tell you a little bit about Market day and what we did, what we made, and how well it worked out.

So for Market Day, we made tie-dye. We tie-dyed t-shirts and socks. The people that were in my group were Khaylanie, AJ, and I. We had to make a poster for our company so that on the day people would know our name and hopefully tell people about it and bring more people. Some of our tie-dye we had done the day before and they needed to dry once we rinsed them under the sink. We then had to let them dry outside. On the day we had a small table with a big poster. The socks sold out really fast. Some of the t-shirts we had reserved for some people because they had already been bought but were still wet from when we rinsed them because they didn't get that long to dry.

Something that I really enjoyed about market day was that there were heaps and heaps of different food stands. Some of the stands I went to were really good and some of them were a bit off for me and I didn't really enjoy it as much. Another thing that I really enjoyed was the music that was playing. It was actually really nice to have music playing on a hot day. One last thing that I enjoyed was actually going around the stalls and looking at what people had made. It was really interesting to see what people had an interest in and to see what they had made.

Some things that I didn't enjoy was the heat. It was a really hot day in which we had to sit out or stand in the sun. Our stand didn't have chairs so we had to sit on the fake grass in the sun. Another thing that I didn't enjoy was how some of the schools arrived late so we didn't get to sell our product for half of that time. One more thing that I didn't enjoy was how Aj was in our group but she was never at the stand. She was only there for a couple minutes and she left for the rest of it. I was actually really annoyed about this because she was part of our group and didn't do anything.

A thing I would like to change is practically everything. Our group. Well, one person from it and what we were selling. Next time Khaylanie and I were thinking to make food this time instead of a materialized product like tie-dyed shirts and socks.

The amount that everything cost for our t-shirts was $30. All of the other things Khaylanie and I already had at home. Aj didn't even bother to get anything for our business. This is something that also annoyed me because all she did was do the tie-dye. The amount of money that we actually made was $60 dollars and something cents. I think that our total profit was $28.

Market day was not what I expected but it was really interesting. I can't wait until next year to make something new.
