North and South

North and South
Hi guy and welcome back to another SLJ blog post. Today I will be talking about or showing you about north and south. I am really excited for this one because for me it sounds interesting. I am also excited for the next one because it is called ice ice baby. With the North and South, I am doing Mission Bay and St Helliers. These are both based in Auckland.
Here is a google drawing that I have made about Mission Bay an St Helliers.

I would really like to go up to Auckland and explore these two beach's.
If you would like to visit these two beach's make sure to say it when you comment.

Questions?
Have you ever been to the two beach's?
Have you ever gone to Auckland before and how was it?
How many time's have you been to Aukland?
What place's did you go and see there and how exciting were they?

Please comment and give feedbakc on my work that I have done.
Please come back to blog any time you want to.
Bye for now.

  1. Good morning Bailey,

My name is Susie and I am one of the blog commenters for the Summer Learning Journey. I hope you've made a great kick-start to the new year!

It is great to see that you have put in so much effort into organising the information shown on this poster. I actually live in Auckland and I have been to both beaches a couple of times. I love roller-skating around the mission bay area because you can see the whole city from the area! I've also been to Christchurch and I absolutely fell in love with Sumner and New Brighton beach. Do you have any other recommendations? Where is your favourite nature spot?

Here is a gentle reminder that the question has asked you to write about your hometown - CHRISTCHURCH! This is what has been stated in the activity; "Now it is time to think about your hometown. What is special about where you live? On your blog, describe your hometown. Be sure to include lots of describing words (adjectives) in your post."

It is important to take your time when reading these questions to make sure that you have understood everything clearly. The text written in bold (the thick writing) is the main purpose of the question and this is where you should be directing your focus! I am more than happy to help so please let me know if there is anything that confuses you in the future :)

I would love to learn more about Christchurch. Since you have already provided some interesting facts about Auckland, why don't you edit the post and write a description about Christchurch below? There is no need to delete anything - just remember to add in your story as a special edition :)

Extremely looking forward to reading about your hometown Bailey!

    Talk soon,
    Susie

  2. I can also see that you've used some images to illustrate your blog posts. Every time that we use an image on our blog, it's really important that we tell our readers where we found it, and give credit to the owner of the picture. To properly credit a picture you will need to include a link to the site where you found the image. We have created a guide that you might find helpful :) You can check it out here:
