My Awesome handmade Diorama

This term I have just finished my Diorama of doing it for 9 weeks in Term 1. It is a diorama about a Tonga or Samoa village. I did I a Tongan village. It was a great experience doing something that I have never done before. I was really exited to finish it off today because I have put a lot of effort in it creating all my mini props and hot gluing them on.

I really enjoy creating stuff in my own time and at school.

I am here today to show you what I have done in my learning goals for 2018. We had to make the learning goals to show what we are working  on at school and to show our parents what we are on at school. My interview was on Thursday. My Mum was proud of what my learning goals were like.

Cyclone Gita

Cylcone Gita

Cyclone Gita was a great storm. It had strong winds, and carried lots and lots of rain. 

Sometimes with cyclones there can be lighting. The clouds will go either a light or dark grey and can damge lots of animals or humans. It can rip roofs of houses and can even sometimes rip the houses straight off the ground. 

Some people brought some first aid packs and charged all their devices just in case the power went off. I felt scared and exited for Cyclone Gita. The reason I felt scared and exited at the same time is because I have never felt or heard of a Cyclone Gita and when I heard about it I wasn't sure what it could be capable of so I was scared of what damage could be done.

We had to stay inside to play because of all the rain from the cyclone.

Hi guys and welcome back to my blog for 2018. I have made a D.L.O. of things to remember when using your device. It has information on it that you can use for some advice if you would need it. I hope you guys like what I have made.

The great and powerful Elgrego!

The great and powerful Elgrego!

On Wednsday, the first day of school I was exited to meet my freinds again. This week I have been happy to be at school and learning some more new things. Today we saw the great magician called Elgrego. He has now got a new assistant called Ben. He performed lotes of tricks today and exited us.

The part that I liked best in the magic show was the part when he put a mask that had a remote control to control the mouth on to Jackson. My other favourite part was when Egrego made lots of birds appear. Elgrego made a heap of birds perform in the show. My favourite bird was the Macaw.

The birds he made were amzing to watch. They were all trained for a great performance at Hornby Primary school. There were lots of tricks for Elgrego to perform with all of the birds he had. There was one trick that when Elgrego blew up a ballon, he popped it and a white bird came out. There was another trick when Elgrego had a paniting with a white bird in it and as he was waving it round up and down slowly a white bird came out.

The next trick he made was pulling a ladder out of a black breef case. The ladder that elgrego had taken out of the breef case was all about steps. The steps were Respect, Trustworthy, Acceptable, Responsible and caring. he red some poems of what all of the steps meant.

Athletics day

Athletics sport day

Yesterday our school started to do athletics. Last week we were traing for yesterday to do athletics and to learn how to do it. The events that I did was Discus, high jump, long jump, sprints, long distance and shot put. I felt nervous starting athletics but once I did discus and high jump I started to feel much better. There was a rest station for two groups to have a rest. It was underneath our new hall or gymnaziam. I went good with some of them except for high jump and discus. I not really got at those but next year I should do better. My favourite part of the day was spending time outside enjoting athletics with freinds.  After we had finished everything we all went back to out classrooms and went home.
