Hurumanu - Decomposing and Recycling
Aim: To learn about the rate that different materials decompose.
Hypothesis: I think that......
Materials:
- Bread + water
- Paper
- Banana
- Stylophone
- 4 test tubes
- 1 test tube rack
- Scissors
Steps:
- Get your 4 tubes and polace4 into the test tube rack
- Cut the stylophone, Cardboard and paper
- Place the banana and the bread in the test tube
- Carefully add water into the test tube with bread
- Then add the stylophone and the cardboard into the test tube
- Then wait for 3 weeks to see which one rots the fastest

Conclusion: I have found out that the banana rots faster than the bread, Stylophone or cardboard. I thought that the bread would of rotten faster since it had water ib it but obviously not. Maybe the bread will rot faster in the 5th week.
